This OEM replacement part is a motor assembly for ovens. The motor assembly is the main motor that powers the oven fan which is responsible for maintaining and adjusting the temperature in an oven. If the oven is no longer heating properly, turning on, or maintaining temperature, then the motor assembly will need to be replaced. To replace this part, make sure that the oven is unplugged. After it has been powered off, proceed to pull the oven out and away from the wall. Once moved, uninstall the back panel of the oven by removing the panel's mounting screws. After detaching the back panel, locate the motor housing on the back of the oven. Unthread the screws that hold the housing in place. Once removed, locate the mounting brackets that hold the motor in place and remove the screws that attach to the motor. Pull the old motor out of its place and install the new motor. Reinstall the back panel and restore power to the appliance. This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Bosch, Gaggenau, and Thermador brand ovens.
