This replacement part is a guide kit. This is a genuine replacement part made by Husqvarna. Guide kits are small parts that connect to the side of a lawnmower to help the user create clean lines during use. The rope is looped through the guide so that the user maintains consistent work. A new guide kit might be needed if the user is unable to maintain clean lines while cutting grass. If the guide loop is worn down and will not hold rope correctly, it might be time to replace the guide kit. This repair should be fairly simple and only require common household tools such as a screwdriver and perhaps pliers if the previous piece is stuck. This is a genuine OEM replacement part.
