Got replacement part Pan Kit 234DOM/MON. I needed the wire stand that holds the drawer too but GE discontinued it. When i otdered the above part it was reformatted so the wire frame is not needed. It was easy and works much better Read more

This electronic control board operates your refrigerator's water and ice dispenser functions in the door. It processes button presses and controls the dispensing motors, valves, and display lights for both water and ice delivery. Replace this board if your dispenser won't respond to button presses, dispenses continuously, or the display doesn't light up.
I ordered a new interface display assembly to replace the cracked/broken face plate. You have to replace the whole interface display as the face plate is built integral with the interface. There is no option to just replace the plastic. The repair was extremely easy and involved prying off the old display with a flat head screwdriver, unplugging the old display, plugging in the new display and snapping it back into position. This control board manages your refrigerator's water and ice dispenser functions, processing button presses and controlling water valves, motors, and indicator lights. It coordinates dispenser operations with the main refrigerator control system. Replace it if your water dispenser doesn't work, ice dispenser is unresponsive, dispenser lights don't function, or if you receive error messages on the dispenser display.
Initially cleaned -wife using smaller hands. Better idea to review why there is no SOP on the matter, and replace the part. While pricing the door discovered nice pricing on drip tray, and while at it the touch pad was cracking, as well as the freezer slide out handles broke (and we thought they were just covers), so bought all we thought we could use.
