This handle cap is a replacement end cover that restores the clean finished look and protects the handle mounting on compatible refrigerators. It keeps the handle edges covered and helps prevent snags and cosmetic damage. What it does:

Covers and protects the exposed end of a refrigerator door handle for a finished appearance
Conceals handle mounting hardware and reduces dirt build-up around the handle area
Helps prevent clothing snags and minimizes wear at the handle end
Matches light white finish to blend with white appliance trim

Install notes:

Remove original cap by following the appliance manual; some models use hidden clips or a retaining screw

Somewhat difficult to slide back on because pieces of the old tabs were stuck in the crevace, but once I realized and fished them out the next challenge was finally figuring out part went inside the crevace and part (a tab) went outside on the back of the handle. If you bend over and look up underneath it is easy to see how it goes, but apparently over the years the handle had gotten just out of shape enough that the caps did not readily slide on.
