This shield protects the dispenser recess area from spills and damage, located around the water/ice dispenser opening. Replace if the shield is cracked, stained beyond cleaning, or creates gaps allowing debris entry.

This motorized component sits inside the ice maker assembly and pushes formed ice cubes out of the mold and into the storage bin below. Replace when ice cubes remain stuck in the mold, the ice maker jams frequently, or no ice is dispensed despite the unit running through cycles.
