A 25 microfarad (25µF) run capacitor rated 330 VAC that helps motors and compressors start and run smoothly by storing and releasing electrical charge. Replaces a failed capacitor to restore normal motor operation and reduce noise or intermittent starts. What it does:
- Provides the phase shift and stored energy needed for motor/compressor startup and stable running
- Helps reduce humming, slow starts, or motors that won't maintain speed
- Supports consistent electrical performance under normal load conditions
- Used in motor circuits where a 25µF, 330VAC run capacitor is specified
What's included: One 25µF, 330VAC run capacitor. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance at the breaker before servicing.
- Discharge the capacitor before handling; residual voltage can cause a shock.
- Observe polarity/terminal labeling and secure connections; replace with exact capacitance and voltage rating.
