Description

The Electronic Control Board is an OEM component designed specifically for LG refrigerators. It acts as the central processing unit, regulating all mechanical and electrical functions within. The control board receives input from temperature sensors and door switches located throughout the unit. 

Symptoms of a bad control board include:

  • Failure to adequately cool or freeze foods over time
  • Inability to sense and adjust for temperature variances
  • Malfunctions in digital displays, ice/water functions   
  • Repeated tripping of compressor and condenser units
