Jonathan W Lamar , SC October 27, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Electric Dryer DDE5300GAL The felt seal was worn down resulting in metal on metal grinding from the drum against the inside of the front face I cut power to the dryer. I removed the face of the dryer. I then removed the felt mounts beneath the drum. I removed the old strips of felt and cut the new seal to fit both mounts.
