Description

A high-side refrigeration drier that traps moisture and debris from the liquid line to help protect the system and maintain cooling performance. Installs in the high-pressure side of the refrigerant circuit. What it does:

• Removes moisture and particulate contaminants from the liquid line to protect valves and the compressor
• Helps prevent acid formation and corrosion that can damage the system
• Commonly replaced when the system is opened for service or after a compressor failure
• Replacement can restore proper refrigerant flow and reduce recurring system problems

• This is a sealed-system service part; perform removal, brazing, evacuation and recharge
• Replace only when the system is depressurized and properly recovered to avoid refrigerant release
