This genuine OEM part is an icemaker. The icemaker is the machine within the refrigerator that produces ice. If the freezer is no longer dispensing ice, the icemaker might need to be replaced. Luckily, replacing this part is a relatively simple process. To begin, make sure the refrigerator is unplugged. Then open the door to remove the ice bin cover and ice bin. To remove the bin, lift up and pull straight out to gain access to the ice maker assembly. To unmount the icemaker, loosen the left quarter inch screw and completely remove the right quarter inch screw. Once removed, lift out the ice maker using both hands. Be sure to remove the wire connector attached. Set the old icemaker to the side, and proceed to install the new one by reconnecting the wire harness and rethreading the mounting screws that attach it.This authentic replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Viking brand refrigerators.
