Description

This iris is the rotating vent/damper assembly used in some cooktop downdraft systems to open and close the vent path for proper airflow. Replacing a worn or damaged iris restores correct vent movement and helps the downdraft pull smoke and odors. What it does

• Rotates to open and close the cooktop vent airway, controlling airflow from the cooktop to the downdraft system.
• Helps prevent debris from entering the vent when closed and allows full exhaust flow when open.
