Description
This is a replacement washer control board assembly designed for top-loading machines. It includes both the manual controls for the washer, and the electronic control board that monitors and manages washing cycles and functions. Users can choose the wash cycle, water temperature, and more. Over time, button contacts on a control board can wear out. Signs that the control board assembly needs to be replaced include erratic operation, or if the washer is not operational at all. To replace the board assembly, first unplug the washer. Next, locate the mounting screws behind the assembly and remove them. Disconnect the wiring and remove the old board assembly. Install the new one in the reverse order. Always wear gloves to protect the hands.This OEM part is manufactured by Whirlpool. It's sold individually and will fit Whirlpool and Kenmore washing machines.
