Description

This coupler connects the washer motor shaft to the transmission/gearcase, transferring motor rotation to drive the tub. Replacing a worn coupler restores reliable spin and agitation for your washer. What it does:

• Couples the motor output shaft to the transmission so the tub can spin and agitate
• Failsafe for overloads — prevents damage by shearing if overloaded
• Common failure shows as motor running but no spin or agitation, or loud grinding/noise during spin
• Restores normal drive engagement when the old plastic/rubber sections crack or strip
