Description
This electronic control assembly (CCU PIMA) manages wash cycles and user commands, restoring responsive control and cycle sequencing for compatible Whirlpool top-load washers. It replaces a failed or unresponsive main control board. What it does:
- Receives user inputs and runs the washer's control logic to start, stop, and advance cycles
- Controls power distribution to motors, valves, and sensors
- Restores normal electronic control when the washer has unresponsive buttons, blank/erratic display, or failure to start/complete cycles
- Works as the factory replacement main control assembly for units specified to use the PIMA CCU
