Description

This gearcase drive assembly transfers motor power to the dryer drum so it tumbles clothes. Replacing a worn gearcase restores reliable drum rotation and reduces grinding or binding during operation. What it does:

• Transfers motor torque to the drum via internal gears so the drum turns during the cycle
• Keeps rotation smooth and correctly timed with the drive components
