Description

This surface ignitor creates the spark that lights a gas range burner so burners light reliably. Designed as a direct-replacement ignitor for compatible Whirlpool gas cooktops and ranges. What it does

• Produces the spark at a surface burner to ignite the gas flow
• Restores normal burner ignition when a burner won't light or sparks only intermittently
• Works with the range's ignition system and burner cap to start cooking flames
• Fragile ceramic/metal electrode; failure typically shows as no spark or weak/intermittent sparking
