Description
This control knob replaces a worn or broken stove/oven control knob to restore a secure grip and accurate setting selection. Durable plastic construction and a simple push-on fit make it an easy cosmetic and functional repair. What it does:
- Replaces a damaged or missing control knob so settings can be selected and remain set
- Restores a secure grip for turning temperature or function controls
- Helps eliminate slipping or loose control feel caused by a stripped or worn knob
- Compatible with splined control shafts commonly used on ranges and ovens
What's included: One control knob. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing electrical components
- Pull the old knob straight off the control shaft; align the knob splines with the shaft and push firmly until seated
- If the knob is tight or stuck, use a non-marring puller or apply gentle penetrating spray to the shaft (avoid chemical contact with painted surfaces)
- Test control operation after installation; do not force the knob onto an incompatible shaft
