Description

• Converts electrical energy into microwave radiation that heats food in the oven cavity.
• Common symptom: oven runs but does not heat or heats very poorly.
• Other symptoms: unusual buzzing, arcing or sparking inside the cavity, or a burning/electrical smell.
• Should be checked alongside the high-voltage diode and capacitor when diagnosing no-heat conditions.
