Description

This magnetron is the high-voltage microwave tube that creates the microwaves used to heat food. Replacing a failed magnetron restores heating so your microwave can cook and warm food properly. What it does

• Converts high-voltage electrical energy into microwave energy to heat food.
• Commonly fails when the oven runs but doesn't heat.
• May cause symptoms such as no heat, intermittent heating, loud humming or buzzing, or electrical arcing/sparking.
• Works with the high-voltage circuit (magnetron, transformer, capacitor and diode) to deliver power to the cooking cavity.
