Description
The Air Duct is an OEM part for Whirlpool cooktops. It is responsible for venting heat and combustion gases out of the oven cavity during and after the cooking process. The air duct is designed to withstand high temperatures while rapidly expelling air and fumes through the outlet vent.
Symptoms of a bad air duct include:
- Smoking or burning smells from the oven
- Incomplete combustion resulting in inefficient heating
- Reduced airflow causing decreased cooking power
