Description

This door switch detects whether the appliance door is open or closed and tells the control to enable operation. Replacing a worn switch restores normal door sensing for safe starts and cycle operation. What it does:

• Senses door open/closed position so the appliance will only run with the door closed
• Prevents motor or heater operation when the door is open
• Controls interior lights or user-interface responses tied to door position
