Description

The carburetor takes in the air and fuel and then combines them to create the ideal mixture to feed into the engine. The air enters from one side of the carburetor, while the fuel is injected through small holes in the inner tube. Then, the two are mixed and released through a butterfly valve, which can be opened or closed to increase or decrease flow. The carburetor can become clogged over time or it may malfunction. Either way, if a replacement is in order, this OEM model will provide an exact fit for compatible engines. Drain the fuel and disconnect the spark plug before changing this carburetor. Make sure that to follow all diagrams and installation instructions for a proper fit. This OEM carburetor with plug is designed for use with Echo 225 series lawn and garden equipment, as well as many other makes and models. It is not compatible with ethanol fuel models.
