Description

This thermocouple is the temperature-sensing safety device for a gas BBQ burner that helps the valve detect and maintain a flame—replacing a worn sensor restores reliable ignition and flame sensing. What it does:
  • Senses pilot/burner heat and signals the gas valve to stay open when flame is present
  • Helps prevent gas flow if the pilot or burner flame goes out
  • Commonly replaced when the grill fails to stay lit or the burner won't heat consistently
  • Fits BBQ-style gas burners and interfaces with the oven/grill gas valve assembly
What's included:
  • One thermocouple
Install notes:
  • Turn off gas supply and disconnect power before servicing; follow all safety precautions
  • Install in the same position and routing as the original to ensure proper flame sensing
  • Check valve connections and pilot alignment after installation; test for gas leaks before use
