Diyjackson for Model Number Bosch SHX65T55UC/02 After a shock event happened mid wash cycle and flipped the breaker, there was water that didn't drain, so we flipped the switch on the fuse box and ordered/replaced the drain pump with hopes that was the culprit. The machine will no longer turn on despite it showing it has power. We have tried finding the source of such event with no luck. We are seeing this part recommended based on another similar question here. Could you help us understand why this is the best solution? Do you think this was a problem from the start and that the drain pump is not the problem at all? What would cause this to fail suddenly? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
Answer DIYJackson, if the shock event was an electrical short or water that leaked enough to create a short, this can damage the control module 00752738. If there is not a damaged wire and the module does not send voltage to the user interface, the control module would need to be replaced. Read More...
