Rene for Model Number Bosch SHU42L06UC / 22 Problem: No Power. Dishwasher stopped running and there is a bit of water sitting in the tub. Test done so far: 120V at J-box. Continuity at door switch closed & open. 120V at power switch. Press in power switch and 120V goes to the control module (grey wire) but not 120V coming out of it (red wire). I opened up the control module and found one of the heat relays blown (burned solder point/surrounding scorch mark) so I suspect this is the cause however I want to be sure before purchasing a new control module. The red wire leads down to the NTC/Hi Limit (thermistor?) and there is continuity at these connections. As a quick test, I used a small piece of 14/2 wire to 'jump' the voltage from the grey wire to the red wire but still no response from the dishwasher. I cannot find a fuse/thermal fuse/thermistor on this thing. Would a burnt out heat relay cause absolutely no power? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Answer Rene, The burnt out relay would not cause the no power issue but the control module could have been damaged when the relay blew on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 8, 2016
