David for Model Number Bosch shv46c13uc/30 Hello, Our dishwasher makes a clicking noise from the control panel area, then the inlet valve opens (but I am not sure it is opening all the way) and a small amount of water enters the dishwasher. Then nothing. When I open the door, the water level is about 1" deep. I can empty it with the red float control. Occasionally it will try and fill then pump then fill. Is it the control board?
Answer David, This sounds like a problem with the water valve not opening enough. Sometimes the valve won't open far enough and water will leak out of the water fill assembly on the side and flow into the base engaging the flood switch also.
