Manufacturer Part Number: 00676967

The Control Unit is an OEM component specifically designed for Bosch dishwashers. It houses all of the electronic components that operate and monitor dishwasher functions.

The control unit works behind the scenes to coordinate different aspects of each cycle, from water inlet to drainage and motor functions. Integrated circuits and boards ensure precise wash times and temperatures.

Symptoms of a bad control unit include:

  • Failure to start or run through cycles normally
  • Error codes or blinking lights that can’t be reset
  • Unresponsive or inconsistent responses to control input
  • Inability to heat water properly for sanitization

Causes include moisture damage, power surges that can fry circuitry, or normal component degradation over thousands of hours of operation.

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.

Ted for Model Number SHX3AR75UC/22

Hello! Our Bosch dishwasher (SHX3AR75UC/22) is not draining. I have already replaced the drain pump motor, checked the flow back flap, and cleared all drainage lines for blocks. I have noticed that when the dishwasher attempts to drain (either at the end of a cycle or when I manually raise the float to prompt a drain) the drain pump motor will make three short attempts (whirls up and spins the impellers three short times in succession) and then stops. The dishwasher will then beep and cancel the cycle. Thanks!

Answer

Ted, during the three short bursts of an attempt to drain, water should be able to be heard going into the drain pipe. If not, then it would be recommended that the connection where it goes into the house drain or disposal is inspected. There could be a clog in the connection point (if a new disposal has been installed, the drain plug may not have been knocked out). The three short cycles are used by the main control to identify if there is a clog before trying to drain. Once all of the above mentioned have been inspected, the last step would be a failure in the main control board 12010638.
