This is a repair you can do! I suggest disconnecting the power to unit. Remove the screws from around the inside of the door. The old panel should come off . Now you can just replace the old panel with the new one. Make sure you get the tabs around the top of the panel into the control section flush. This will ensure your screw holes will line up with the inner door panel. Good Luck!
