Derek for Model Number Thermador - VCI236DS I accidentally pulled out the Hood Halogen Lamp Assembly trying to replace the light bulb. (of course I didn't read the directions first) It looks like the entire lamp assembly can be replaced. However, I am not sure if you have to take part of the housing apart to do that or of you can only do it through the small hole the Lamp Assembly fits in? Looks you disconnect the bulb from inside the housing I am not sure how you get to it. I do see two screws on each side. Are they specific directions on changing the Lamp Assembly?
Answer Derek, you will need to get inside the housing to unclip the assembly. There are 2 clips, one on each side that hold it in, no screws. Just unplug the old and plug in the new one. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 14, 2019
