Randy P. for Model Number 79091072602 Hi, I have a Kenmore stove 1-2 years old and the oven element does not work but the boiler does, what could be the problem? Everything else works. I also unpluged the stove for 30 minutes with no luck. I have 240v to the range. Thanks
Answer Hi Randy. Are you getting 120 vac respectively from each leg to neutral ? Check house supply Outlet. Remove power. Remove back. Remove 1- lead off the element and ohm the element to 32- 38 ohms and not shorted. Isolate one lead plugged into the element wire and call for bake. Element is part # 316225001.
