Izamo for Model Number Frigidaire stove After I installed a new lower oven heating element the control board start burning. The black box on the board is burned/ melted. What could be a cause of this? How do I fix it?
Answer Izamo, it would be recommended that the heating element and wires are inspected for any loose connections and tested for continuity to ground when the power cord is unplugged. If there is a loose connection it would need to be corrected and if there is continuity to ground, this would cause a short that would need to be addressed.
