Laura for Model Number Model #79096012401 Kenmore Electric range Last week we heard a pop and then the circuit breaker tripped to our oven. When we went to put it back on, we were only able to use the stovetop and the oven is no longer heating up. Neither of the coils are heating in our oven...we are looking to find out if it is the oven control that needs to be replaced or could it be something else? Also, we are no longer seeing any clock display nor have the ability to push the button to turn the oven on. That did work at first but isnt anymore. I appreciate the help! Thanks!
Answer Laura, You will want to do a voltage check for 120vac to the control board. Check from L1 to N. If you have 120 vac to Neutral then the control board 316557118 is faulty and will need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 4, 2013
