Edwin W. for Model Number FDB1050REQ4 The wash light is flashing, but no buttons will start the cycle. I cut off power at the circuit board for 30 minutes to allow the command module to reset & all three lights ( Wash Dry & Clean ) are now blinking. After pressing the start/cancel button now the machine starts to wash dishes. but later the Wash light starts blinking again and nothing happens. Now I could purchase a new module from you BUT I can't seem to get the old one out without breaking something.
Answer Edwin, The error code that is displaying now would be a membrane switch failure. Main Control Board has detected a stuck key or a key pressed for more than one minute. Check connection from keypad to Main Control Board. If correct, replace keypad. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board.
