Martin for Model Number FDB1050RES0 Runs and drains constantly and doesn't switch to heat or dry.Its cleaning the dishes so I can live with towel drying them until I can buy a new dishwasher. How long is the normal run cycle? Doesn't make sense to pay $150 for a control board when a new dishwasher is $220.
Answer Martin, The average timer for a cycle will be 92 minutes. If the unit is operating except drying and heating then check the heating element and connections to make sure that they are good. If that checks ok then check the thermistor for the heater to make sure that it is good. If this checks ok then check the wiring between the control and heater. If the wiring checks ok then the control board would be the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, March 24, 2016
