Answer Hi Jd. The heating element is part # 154665201. The thermostat is part # 154290204. The heating element nut is part # 154106202. If these parts are "open" in the circuit then you will have this symptom. Is your incoming water at the sink at least 120 degrees or more? The "timer" will stall and use the heater to raise the tub temperature (if you use heated dry) to 145 or more depending on the options selected.
