Erich for Model Number FGIP2468UF0A All lights on panel light up. I can go thru the relay tests and can fill with water. Dispenser works, motor works, doesn’t drain out. Now when selecting a was cycle I can do that, but when start button is pressed it does nothing but cause all the wash cycle LEDs on circuit board to bleed voltage to them even when door is closed or has timed out. I can press start button anytime and will cause the very dim lighting on the board. Also does not tell me to close door after selecting I’m assuming because the board doesn’t see the command ?
Answer Hello Erich, the drain pump has to work in the test, also on start the control powers the drain pump first to rid the tub of any standing or stagnant water, some controls will not allow operation if the drain pump is faulty.
