Richard for Model Number fdb1050res0 The dishwasher does not start on normal wash,it will start on the other settings. We have been starting it on pots and pans then turning the know back to normal wash, will this work or do I need to change a part? Answer Richard, Yes, the issue would be in the control module 154712101. Depending on soil conditions, you may want to start it on pots and pans and leave it there the cycle has 1 pre rinse cycle and an additional rinse cycle, extending the total cycle approximately 20 minutes longer than the normal cycle. Or use the Light wash cycle which is 10 minutes less in total time (8 minute pre wash cycle) at least for a while, until you replace the control. Read More...
