Anthony for Model Number pld4555rfc0 It appears the heating element melted the tub where it passes through to the wiring connection underneath. It leaked water all over the place and down the wire connection. Can this be fixed? Just a note, 1/2 of the control board quit working about 9 months after I bought it. Frigidaire used to be a good product.
Answer Hello Anthony. Usually, the tub does not get melted, but the brass nut for the heater cracks and causes the leak. If it is leaking around where the heater goes through the tub assembly, check and see if that nut 154106202 is cracked. If so, replace the nut and it should fix the leak. Read More...
