Betsyk for Model Number plcs389cca We bought at liquidation sale frigidaire/electolux dual fuel range model plcs389cca to replace our old one--model plcs389ccb. The problem is it is fitted for natural gas unlike the one we replaced that was fitted for lp. Your parts site does not have a converter kit for this model #. QUESTION: Since we still have the orifices (lp) from our original stove, can we switch them with the ones on the new stove? Concerning the gas lead in, we bought a new one for lp. Everything works but of course the orifices for natural gas produce the characteristic yellow flame (kinda scary). My propane distributor is concerned that the difference in model numbers could be a problem. However, since it is in the last digit, it could indicate the fact that it was set for canada electrical grounding requirements for the oven, which we easily converted.
Answer Betsyk, The LP conversion kit that you have for the PLCS389CCB will work for the PLCS389CCA as it uses the exact same kit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 17, 2013
