Cmcast for Model Number kenmore How long does the burner stay on and how soon after main burner goes off does it ignite again? I tested rEsistance on ignitor and it was good. Could it still be bad?
Answer Hi Cmcast. The igniter should read 75 - 800 Ohms when cold. This part # is 5303937186. The flame sensor is part # 5303281135. The flame sensor should "regulate " the flame length of time. The igniter has to be a white - hot in order to keep the flame lighting. If there is even a visible hairline crack in the middle or ohms out erratically or intermittently, replace it. Thank you.
