Brigitte P for Model Number DE27S6DPMC Gibson Heavy Duty - antique :-) Belt broke, called repairman. Had a hard time getting cover off finally jerked it off. Right knob "Regular, Low and Airfluff....has red wires behind it. Turned it on after he put belt on, drum turned, but no heat on "Regular" . there is heat on low and airfluff is just that, airfluff. What part do I need? From looking at the Service Data sheet (and yes, I still have that). It could be the regular Heat Thermostat. No problem with the switch, just not heating on Regular. When I have it on Low, I usually have the left switch on "Dry Time". thank you,
Answer Bridgitte, Based on the description, it does sound like this is going to be a bad regular thermostat. You will want to double check all the wiring.
