Paul for Model Number 417.44042400 our washer is kenmore front loader....washer will fill up but not advance to next cycle...have to manual advance...will not kick on motor to spin...pump is fine...motor is fine..dont know if this is bad speed control...or motor control switch
Answer Paul, What about a bad timer ? Here's a basic check "Set the timer to the start of the heavy wash cycle. Allow the washer to operate for 3 minutes. Then measure the voltage drop between pin 5 of the ten pin plug on the spped control board and pin 5 of the six pin plug on the speed control board.
