Chris for Model Number Kenmore model 417.43142200 Our front load washer's timer won't run through an entire cycle without stopping. Water pump works fine and there is no blockage in the water line to effect pressure. We have been able to get the machine to spin by putting it in high speed, but doesn't seem to want to aggitate or spin on its own in a cycle. I'm thinking it is the timer, but not sure how to rule out the speed controller. Also, we have ruled out the door switch since it has spun by adjusting the speed. Any suggestions on which part to try first.
Answer Chris, The most likely issue is the motor control assembly 134149220. Of course you want to get access to a multimeter and check the voltages from the timer, at the motor control board, to be sure. We'll send you some additional information that should be helpful.
