Judy B for Model Number GLEH1642DS1 Frigidaire Model #GLEH1642DS1 Front Load Combo Started making loud noise during spin cycle. Sounds as though load is out of balance and clothes extremely wet at end of cycle. Read some of your other responses and wanted to know if you thought was the Motor/Speed Controller? Have not checked fuse or part voltage yet. What is your suggestion?
Answer Hello Judy, You will first want to check the drain to ensure that the drain does not have a clog and that the vanes inside pump are not broken. Check the tubing coming out of the tub and all the way out drain. If this checks ok then you will use tech sheet to check the speed control and the motor. Read More...
