Patrick for Model Number Electrolux Surface Element part 903118-9010 When my surface element arrived in the mail, the gray material (ceramic I assume) surrounding the heating coils had several hairline cracks in it. I want to make sure that the safety was not compromised by this before I take apart my cooktop and replace the existing element.
