Walter for Model Number MEF367CGS2 The larger (8 in.) front right burner does not work. How do I find out if it is the element or the controller?
Answer Walter, with the range unplugged, the burner switch 318120500 would need to be tested for continuity. The switch would need to be turned into an on position and tested from L1 to H1, then from L2 to H2. If there is continuity at both terminal sets, the failure would either be a broken wire or the element 903118-9010. If there was not continuity at one set of terminals, the switch has failed. Unfortunately, the switch has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 26, 2020
