Debra for Model Number gleh1642ds1 the timer went out on my washer unit, it is the stacked ones, anyway i had a repair man to come and fix it, after a week it the washer would not spin out unless you pushed in on the front panel, now the only way it will spin out the clothes is when the dryer is running. i called the store's repairman and they told me i would have to pay for another timer plus labor. can you help me
Answer Debra, Did the servicer replace the washer timer with part no. 134389700 ? At this point, based on your description, the dryer has to be running to allow the washer to spin, That would be an indication of a wiring issue. First you had to push in on the control panel, now the washer won't spin unless the dryer is on,indicating your completing the circuit to the washer motor, through a circuit in the dryer.
