Tod for Model Number GE GFC100 The disposer ran with rubber burning smell and stopped, then I pushed the reset button but don't popup and don't run when switched on. How do I fix it, or I have to replace it? If repairable, what parts I need? If replacement is needed, what model has the same demension so I do not need to change my pipes? Thanks.
Answer Hello Tod, If the reset button doesn't pop back up, it should be reset. You should check for proper power supplied to it at the power connection. If power is at the connections inside at the wire nuts, you will have to replace the unit GFC520N since parts are usually not available for disposers. Read More...
