Clifford Craig for Model Number GE DBXR463 Dryer was making a grating noise. Have just finished replacing blower wheel and as well as retainer with new parts. Works fine for about 2 minutes and then the blower wheel slips off the drive shaft and get that grating noise again. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Answer Clifford, Check and make sure you didn't over torque the retainer screw and distress the back "clamp" portion of the retainer. Check the end of the motor shaft, make sure it's not distressed and damaged from the previous blower whell mishap.
