Jim for Model Number JTP20BF3BB The bake button was the only button working on the oven so i replaced the control board with a new one. I still have the same problem with the bake button not working. I am now thinking that the touch pad on the front panel is bad. I cannot find a rear view of the replacement panel and was wondering if the new panel comes with the ribbon cable that connects to the control board. Could the ribbon cable be bad? and do I need to buy the whole front panel? Your advice is appreciated. Thank You, Jim
Answer Jim, based on your description and information, the keypad and/or ribbon has failed. Yes, the WB36T10550/WB36T10550 Control Panel Asm. has the ribbon installed at the factory(as well as the other components of the control panel), so yes you'll need to replace the control panel assembly. Unfortunately, the part is presently out of stock and will need to be ordered from the manufacturer. This will add a few days to the delivery time, once you place the order. Thanks, Read More...
